Brand new gaming laptop, laging (FPS) like hell.

Hey guys,

I just bought a brand new gaming laptop, a X GE72 6QF-004NE Apache Pro. I run witcher 3 on highest settings but for some reason wow is running like crap. Im basically never running around with something that seems like 30 fps. In orgrimmar I have like 15, even outside Dire maul north my fps is around 20. When I fly my fps is around 20 etc. Funnily enough, sometimes, my FPS is this low even though it is in game shown as being 60-80 and sometimes even 100. Yet im still having shit fps lag despite the number shown.

Any ideas? help very appreciated.

installing DirectX9.0c might help. Windows 10 (and 8 too I believe) do not ship with full backwards compatibility with older versions of DirectX. You can safely install it on top of DirectX 10, 11 or 12 as it will only install the missing files, not overwrite newer ones.
