How to prevent random ban? what read other then ToS?

Are there any other resources for information where i can find guide lines for playing ?
I read the ToS on the homepage. And looked at the beginners guides in the forums, but could not find anything else.

in particular i would like to know what you are allowed to do and what not. Especially while leveling or skilling professions. i heard stuff like not talking in city chat before lvl 15 is important.

So i played it safe not asking for port to darnassus to learn weapon skills or what ever and i still lost my account [PvE feverflame 28 gnome WL] and the answer i got doesn't make any sense. In particular i don't know what got me banned. I got the copy past answer that i was botting. But that is impossible since i never used anything but addons provided by the website 50mb pack. i had already like 3 days played and got invested into my character so im not sure if i want to start over [since im mad as fuck atm].
I leveled with a RL friend of mine. talked to guildies grouped with players did instances level professions i thought that was pretty normal for my first char / main.

What did i do wrong ? Farming linen cloth so i can keep up the craft-able gear with my character lvl ??!! i didn't even sell shit on the AH except for 2 items iirc.
Am i not allowed to farm the same mob in the same area to get a type of cloth? while i wait for my mate to finish up his DM run ? or fish in a area to get mats to level profession? or give as pet food to him ? Or do i play to repetitive with as dot lock using my 3 spells and then wanding ? are are my 6-7 Gold i scraped together already goldfarming ?

i know botting and the gold 4 sale spam is an issue that needs to be addressed. And from what i have seen you do a far better job then retail. but man how sensitive is you system? that you even get hit for what i normal playing.

it would be nice to get a ban review, or at least a valid reason so i can read up on the rules other then the ToS. i had good fun playing but i just can't justify starting over if i might just randomly lose my Acc. Since i don't know why and how to prevent that.

I didn't read the essay you just posted but apparently there is nothing you can do to prevent random bans, no matter how good of a player you are and doing everything possible to play within the rules set by the staff.

I am still banned since Monday for being mind controlled in a battleground. I am 100% confident that's what falsely triggered the detection system as that's what was happening right when I got kicked and banned and I know I didn't do anything against the rules or cheat/hack in any way, yet my case is still being "reviewed" for days now.

I'm curious if anybody else has been banned for the same reason I am right now and how long it took them it get unbanned, if they even did? I have a hard time believing this is the first and only time someone has been mistakenly banned for this.
