Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,

I have just got the quest item book "The Light and How to Swing It" which starts the quest for Paladin trinket in Dire Maul, however it doesn't work!

When I click it - nothing happens. I cannot start the quest at all...
Can you please have a look into this?

Yep. That''s on the PvE server forgot to mention.

Someone told me that they think they werent added until 1.4, however I cant find that information anywhere. From what I understand the quest was introduced with the dire maul patch, so I assume it will be fixed shortly (hopefully) along with the rest of the bugs in DM.

Googled the patch, trinkets were added in 1.3. So the books not working is in fact a bug.

Have you done the quest "Elven legends"? You need to have that done before you can turn in the dm books and receive arcanums.

Even after quest, still does not activate quest. ;/

they are not referring to arcanums, you seem to be thinking about the Librams, This post is about the class books to receive class specific trinkets "Royal Seal of Eldre'thalas"

Any feedback whether that is being investigated? I have also submitted ingame ticket and still no answer.
