Characters erased after too much time unlogged ?

Hi,
I'm coming back to Nostalrius after 6-7 months, and it seems that the characters on my account disappeared. I had a 38 warlock with several /played days (I was upping my mining/engeneering skills), and I really don't want to go through these hours of gameplay again. Is that an error ? How can I have my warlock back ?

Greetings -
Please provide the name of a character on the account and we will have a look. We never delete characters off accounts for any reason.
Also make sure you are logging into the PVP server, and not the PVE server. You wouldn't have any characters on the PVE server.

My last question then ; Am I supposed to contact you In Game, by mail, or do I just leave my character's name here ? If that's the last option, it was Moltor (or Moltors, I'm not sure if the name was already taken back when I created him, undead warlock level 38, with engineering/ mining professions). Character "Moltor" is alive and well, a level 38 undead warlock on the PvP server. The account has never been banned.
Please make sure you are logging into the right server. Now there are two of them.

thank you for insuring me that it hasn't been erased ! But somehow, I checked the two servers well, the character still isn't here
Is there any possibility to continue the discussion in private (by mail, or anything), so I can share my account informations to you and see if everything is in order ?

try deleting your wdb folder and rename your WTF folder to WTF_Old

It doesn't work neither.
But well, now that you've mentionned the word "Old" I maybe have an idea ... Could my problem be related to the fact that I'm playing on a NEW computer ? I always thought characters data was stored online. But if it wasn't ... well, I'm not even close to have any access to my "old" computer, so what should I do ?

no but make sure your realmlist actually reads:
- Code: Select all
set realmlist login.nostalrius.org
