[SOLVED] Zeppelin issues when using mac client

by elwelune » Wed Feb 17, 2016 7:09 pm

I know there has been an issue with mac clients running Nostalrius and using the zeppelin.
Earlier I have had the issue that I was teleported from, for example Undercity to either Grom'Gol or Ogrimmar.
However, today I encountered a new issue, I was dropped in the middle of Tirisfal Glades with "slow fall" activated. I tried again to go to Grom'Gol, without any luck, same issue applied.

I have only tested to go from Tirisfal Glades to Grom'gol, and that does not seem to work for me with the mac client. I had to fly.

ADDITION:

I then went down to UC and used the bat flying service to fly to Kargath.. When I arrived in Kargath... ALL NPCs were gone.. I started running towards BRD, NO mobs or NPCs on the way... I could run on my mount all the way down to BRD... I could NOT enter BRD... I relogged and tried to see if that solved the issue... It did NOT.
I then chose to log out and log in to one of my other characters.. there I could see NPCs...
I logged out and logged back in to my main... When I logged in... I was located in... Grom'gol...

Now it seems to be working as intended with mobs and NPCs... But that trip cost me about 30 min in time..

It is a workaround for the common issue that mac users fall off and die/drown after the loading screen. I find it extremely convenient when I'm playing from my laptop, not sure what the problem is for you.

I totally agree, the issue here was that I did not arrive at my destination. I would have been perfectly fine if I arrived in grom'gol as intended : >
