Lost character when I re installed the game

I wanted to try another vanilla server so I changed the realmlist to that server. I wanted to come back so I reverted the realmlist txt file to what it was, launched the game, and saw that i was still on the old vanilla server. So I uninstalled completely and reinstalled now my characters on the PvE server are gone. I had a level 24 undead rogue. Is there any way I can get him back?
