Why is it, that the Alliance 1H mace is weaker than what it should be, while Horde's isnt?

Every 1H weapon, whether axe, mace or sword should have the same stats. Db.vanillagaming confirms that the Punisher should have the higher stats:

The 1H sword and 1H axe do have these stats. It'd still be a bug if the Horde's 1H mace had lower dmg, but at least it'd put both sides in the same spot. As it stand, the Alliance 1H mace is weaker than the Horde counterpart with no real reason nor explanation.

Please confirm.

I deleted the WDB folder when the dragon patch was added as we were told to do.
I have also asked people in my guild as well as others in the world for the dmg range they see. Everyone sees the reduced dmg version. The item's dmg is incorrect and currently in need of a fix.
