Why haven't dark iron nodes been added to the world?

I've yet to see or hear from anyone that has been able to mine it in either of these 2 areas. Just very unlucky/unaware from my part or are they not added yet?
Dark Iron mineral nodes will now sometimes appear in the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge.
