"Safespotting" in EPL

Hello GM's! It seems there might be some disagreement between you guys on what is considered okay.

I made a ticket to Pottu asking if the position I was using was okay and if it was considered safespotting, he responded with this:

It's really hard to know what is okay since GM's each have their own opinion on what is right.

GM's seems to be contradicting the rules they make about this matter. It could also just be mistake warnings or something, were humans afterall

However I know for a fact that this guy did NOT safespot as were playing together on daily basis and almost always on TS

What is mostly disturbing about this is that I was there for briefly 5 minutes in between a BG que only,
Furthermore after reading your TOU's I wouldnt find standing at the log at Lights Hope Chapel as Safespotting.... And it's being done 24/7 by players of both factions.

I'd like to demand a withdrawal of this warning as its bullshit tbh.

That spot is a bit tricky, since shots can go exactly through the ramp leading to the church's entrance, making it a real TOU violation.

First of all; thats not even where hes killing players. Hes killing players at the quartermaster/FP. Second; shooting through the ground is not a violation, or are you saying that shooting from down the GY in WSG to ppl ressing on top of the GY is ToU violation too? because his projectiles would shoot through the ground there aswell.

He did nothing wrong, and the tree log Pottu was talking about is not the one you can see on the SS, its behind him actually, a huge fallen tree log that if you stand on it and get aggro from guards, the guards would keep staying in combat with you but not be able to get to you and therefore bug out and evade any incoming damage so they cant be killed and you would be able to freely kill anyone you wanted to as long you stay on that spot. Which is what safespotting really is, not this.

That's some really good info Karisk, I'll still wait with going back untill some confirmation is given. I still don't know what my first warning is from, besides from when Leythia decided to kill command me in Silithus with no warning.

Horde players really like to abuse the exploit at LHC to kill Alliance players. I must have been to LHC around 15 times, and every single time I have been there there is a Horde Mage or Warlock right in front of the alliance FP killing alliance players without being attacked by the guards.

IMO, Nostalrius should be really strict with these bug abusers. I noticed that the OP, a habitual bug abuser and quite possibly speedhacker too, got three warnings telling him to stop bug abusing. During each warning Nostalrius told him:

"PLEASE MR BUG ABUSER SIR, PLEASE PLEASE STOP BUG ABUSING".

Such lenient approach will not work with these people. These people are punks, and the only thing that they understand and respect is physical abuse IRL and the banhammer online.

I used to deal with such people daily irl as a law enforcement officer.

So Nostalrius, stop being too lenient with habitual bug abusers and hit them hard with the banhammer. These people are trash anyway and do not contribute anything to the community just as they don't contribute anything to their respective communities irl.
