Pet taming issues

Everytime I try to tame the Nightsaber Stalker it tells me it is an invalid target.. I've tried relog, abandonning the quest, re-starting the game.. Even made a New character, nothing works.. What to do?

Type this in your chat exactly as written:

/script PetAbandon()

That should fix the issue. In addition, you might need to delete your WDB folder and retake the quest.
