Account or connection issues

Activation Mail

So I've created my Nostalrius account quite a few hours ago and I didn't recieve any confirmation/activation mail yet. Some friends of mine told me to search my spam and trash folder but I didn't find it there either. I was just wondering if the delay is "normal" and perhaps some estimates on when I'll recieve it. I've tried creating 3 accounts just to see if I made a mistake typing in my email adress but I haven't recieved confirmation mail for none of them. :?:

Hi,

there are no confirmation mails sent anymore to newly registered users.
there should also not be any notice of it during account creation.

Then how do we activate our accounts? All i get is unable to connect when i try to connect to the game. If i type wrong password i get the you have typed wrong password message but if i type the correct one i get unable to connect.

you do not need to activate the accounts anymore, there were issues with tons of users not receiving the emails, so that part was taken out.
creating the account is OK and start connecting.
if you can not connect
make sure you are running the correct version of WOW,
make sure your realmlist is OK,
make sure you are not using addons,

there are some times that the server can be unreachable due to high amount of players, or a server disconnect/crash.

also, some networks are preventing connectivity, depending on the open ports and firewalls.

sometimes you will have to try to reconnect once or twice before it works.
