Say Chat and Yell Not Working

Say Chat is glitched for me.
So when I logged for the first time say chat worked for a short period then pow I couldn't see say chat bubble or anything in chat frame. I deleted my wtf file and came back in and it worked again. This was the only thing that fixed it. Resetting the game did not work. Everytime I deleted my WTF file the "fix" would only work for a short period and then bam I couldn't see say chat or yell.
I had no addons enabled.
Also Guild,Whispers, and Emotes work, just not say or yell.

Have you joined the chats?
You can right-click the tab and join several chats.



You can also type in chat:
/join XXX

for example
/join world

Sometimes you need to /leave XXX and then /join XXX to be able to write (little buggy).

If you are under lvl 15 you should not post in general chats at all as you can very easy get auto-banned. When you are lvl 15 you can start to use public chats normally.

Don't use chat below level 15 it might get you banned.

There are restrictions on chat in place on characters below level 15. Once you reach that level, they are nearly all released. This is in place in order to combat the gold advertisers that continually plague the server.

Note that as other players have said, it's actually possible to accidentally get your account banned by using the public chat channels on low level characters. If this happens. please make forum post in the Account Issues forum and we will review the ban (and most likely unban you.)

I talked to a GM and he told me to report it that say chat should work Is this not the case?
