Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey. Ive been trying to do the quest 'In Dreams' 4 times now. I can never complete it because Tirion just stands there with a grey questmarker over his head.. been doing it solo and in groups. everyone else manage to compete it.. whats wrong?

Abandon the quest and re accept it while Taelan is not escorted yet.

If you accept the quest while he gets escorted, you might bug it and neither you nor the player that originally accepted it can complete it.
