Locked myself out of a quest

The item [Model 4711-FTZ Power Source] can only be obtained with the the quests called "Slake That Thirst" and "Another Power Source?". I made a mistake of doing both quests but destroying the quest item because I thought I could pick it up later again. Turns out I can't, and now have no way of completing the quest that the item starts. Could you please help me out here so that I can complete the quest?
