Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

title pretty much says it all. the burning gate window with login/pass fields just doesnt ever come up. nothing happens when i launch the app. no amount of force quitting, restarting, shutting down and restarting will help, it seems. not sure if this is the best place for this post but i this isnt a connection or account issue so i wasnt sure where else to put this. any ideas guys?

tried verifying / repairing permissions. didnt work. no plist that i can find in library/preferences. still cant play wow.
