Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So the server stays up for days on end now and my account won't let me in after a power cut. Is there any way to free this up or any hope of getting it back before the server goes down again?

My character stayed in the game after I disconnected for a further 15 minutes, and just repeatedly ghost ran across the zone I was in until it eventually disconnected. Now I just instantly disconnect when I put my password in. I have proof on a stream of ours of what my character did after the disconnect if needed.

Any ideas?

Update: Found a solution.

If anybody else is having the same problem, of an account being stuck in game and getting the message 'Disconnected from server' after login, use the password reset tool on the site.

Having no password obviously forces the account offline, so once you have chosen a new password you can then log in fine.

Hope this helps others, as waiting for a server restart as advised could take a full week depending on when the problem occurs.
