Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,

I recently took a trip to visit my friend who lives in the United States. I am originally from Canada. We spoke to an admin a couple weeks ago about some concerns we were having. I was worried that since I usually played from Canada, that if I logged in suddenly from Wisconsin, I would be ban for account sharing/selling. The administrator we spoke to (I don't remember his name) was very helpful and assured us that I would not be ban if I logged in from the United States, since travel time is accounted for during these investigations of account sharing/selling.

I have tried to log in all day at my friends, but it keeps giving me "Disconnected from Server" error. I'm not receiving a ban message, so what could this mean? I haven't suddenly forgotten my username and password. I play often. I even tried multiple different versions, old passwords.. but to no avail.

Am I ban? Or am I simply so inept I cant remember my credentials?

edit: Character name is "Gaybae" on the PvP realm.
