Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Was trying to level my newly tamed Rake pet and ended up fleeing since I aggro'd too many mobs. Upon leaving combat my pet vanished.
Calling pet did nothing, and trying to revive it gave me the 'you have no pet to summon' message.
I'm pretty sure happiness was out of the question since my pet was following me so it wasn't dismissed due to distance. Nor had the pet ever died and had been pretty well fed with food it likes.

I hope theres a fix for this since I spent so much time looking for the rare mob in order to tame it, only to have it vanish after like an hour.

If you do not keep your pet maintained happy, and your loyalty is low, he will flee and leave you. Thats part of Vanilla. If there is something else different, then yes, there may be a bug.
