Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

My friend just started playing today. He logged out for a bit and when he went to log back in to play it comes up and says account was closed.

Character name - Wickedkan
on the pvp server

Any details about why or if you can get this fixed so we can play again that would be great
