Private Messages on the Forums

Hello!

I am interested in applying to join the communications team at Nostalrius.

I have created a forum avatar so as to be able to apply, but am being met with a message telling me that I am unable to send Private Messages from my account. Is this an issue related to the age of the account? Do I have to have posted a certain number of times in the forums before I am allowed to Private Message?

Any help with the issue would be greatly appreciated as I'm keen to throw my hat into the ring as soon as possible!
