Banned for trying to talk in trade chat?

This has happened twice and I made a new account. I got to level 5 on my night elf hunter (Cdewswife PVP server) and when to darnassus and got banned after trying to ask a question, and before that I also got banned on another account for walking from goldshire to SW and trying to talk in trade chat

I believe (not 100% certain) that for some reason you got flagged for auto-ban - I hear sometimes the automatic banning is overzealous for lowbies talking in trade/world because of gold spammers.
I repeatedly see people say it's safer to wait until level 10 or 15 before using those channels just in case.

Novae is spot on: The chat spam filter is very sensitive at low levels, and this is most likely why you were banned.
A GM will revert such ban when he reach your request in the queue.
It is highly recommended that you or any addons does not use the chat before level 15.
GM's are currently very busy, so the request may take a while before being processed, and you are free to make a new account and level while waiting for this one to be free'd - it will be faster to level a new character to 5 than to wait for a GM.
