Server - Help me

Hello,

i created an account, log in and sadly missclick on "test server 1". Now iam disconnected and cant log in again, cause the server is always "test server 1" and i get auto disconnected...
I cant change the server without loggin in.

What can i do?

If you connected to one of the wrong realms (the development realms) you might be unable to simply select a new realm. If you have a standard installation, Nostalrius provides an easy tool to fix this for you. Just download and execute this tool!

The tool searches for your WoW installation and rewrites the "realmlist.wtf" so it will connect to the correct realm. However, if you have a custom WoW path, this might not work. If this is the case, open "realmlist.wtf" and delete all content and write:

Thank you and sorry für my inability.

But sadly both dont work. When i download the tool, it perma asking for administrator privileg. It open like 20times a second and iam unable to do anything while this. Was forced to shut down the pc. So for everyone new => DONT RUN THIS without admin!
After this i run it with admin, it worked, but sadly i still cant log in...

Same with manuel rewrite.
The text have "set realmlist login.nostralrius.org"
I added "realmname "nostralrius Begins"" => didnt work.
I delete the "set", so its 1-1 like the shown code => still dont work.

I really dont know what else to do. I am so exciting about this pserver... i was asking blizzard since ages, with many other players, for a vanilla server. Since wotlk i had the dream about vanilla 2.0... it hurts in my soul that iam forced to wait.
- How can i delete EVERYTHING from nostralrius? I deleted the game, deinstall it, did everything, but it keep the realmlist... i dont want to clear my full disk for it... or maybe in the last case :X
- Maybe a admin can log in with my account and can change the realmlist. This could work and is an easy way.

Sorry for the circumstances.
Iam not a pc specialist, only a very very big vanilla fan.

go to your wow folder, delete WDB and WTF folder, then open realmlist.wtf with a Notepad, make sure it only says:

set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org

You don't have the game open and running while you're trying to modify it, do you? Otherwise, sounds like your files are in a directory where Windows won't allow you to make changes. Do you know where you installed World of Warcraft Classic to? If you're not sure, you can right-click the World of Warcraft Classic shortcut on your desktop and select "Open FIle Location." That will show you where it's installed to. Depending upon the location, you may have to reinstall to a different directory that'll allow you to make changes.

You could also try dragging the Realmlist to your desktop, modify it then drag it back into its appropriate folder.
