Hello there are lots of posts about these cod scams so im going to make one official one that we all post our screens in, I am collecting data so please if you are experiencing problems with these assholes post a pic up here i will add it.
Both sides of the realm are experiencing issues of this matter
here is what I have so far:

THIS IS HAPPENING TO EVERYONE IN YOUR COMMUNITY:

Today I noticed that I received a new mail. It contained some gold and a note stating that it was returned gold? After looking at my gold I noticed that suddenly I only had 12 gold, eventhough it had been over 20gold before and I didn't spend it on anything. Anyone else encountered any problems like this?

Happened the same to me, sent a PM to an admin but no response until now.

If u do not give me back my money from the C.O.D scam from "persenaama" then i am going to have to quit this server not because the gold but due to a lack of response to issues such as this. Please send my 5g.98s back or i cannot train

I was so stupid for clicking that with out reading (never see COD option until today lol), dont wanna my gold back just wanna see that guy banned or at least with out the stolen gold.-
This guy "Refund" get gold doing that. I made a ticket asking if is legal or not in this server. In wiki wow says "Blizzard advised players not to open such mail, and to report suspected C.O.D. scams to a Game Master". So whats on Nost? Well as we dont know ive already made a ticket explaing it.
And just wondering how they made mails so fast to everybody...

I received this mail from guy named Refuňd ( there was some funny n... dont even have it on my keyboard )
With what i thought was 20g attached to it. i automatically thought its mail from Nostalrius stuff, as i was missing some items ( bought First Mate Hat off the auction house, but it never arrived to my mailbox )
Being happy that Nostalrius is REFUNDing me the lost item i clicked to accept, not realizing its a CoD and i sent the guy 20g.
I dont know if this is reportable as its pretty much my own fault, just warning you guys, dont get too excited when you see the gold icon in your mailbox, just like i did and read before you click :/

Made a ticket, hoping that Nostalrius ( unlike other servers ) is keeping logs and will be able to track down this scam an hopefully return my gold...

Yeah I just got scammed by the players "Repayment" and "Repay". Feeling so stupid right now.
I understand if the victims don't get refunded but the scammers should at least get punished.

I played retail vanilla wow and ppl got banned for doing this stuff and the players got their stuff/gold back.

for the record, this exact same thing happened to me on retail back in the day and the GM gave me my item back and gave the person in question a ban. mail scams pretending to be the AH or any other kind of fraud were also against the TOS and were bannable offenses.

Am I the only one who's seeing "COD" / "Cash on Delivery amount" on my mailbox ? Because this "OMGOMGOMG SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM" begins to be really annoying.

I advise you to make one post about it. And editing it if you have new info, not 35 post in one day with the only 3 same screenshot reading "I can't even read three letter on my mailbox".

Who else do you see creating a new thread every day about the same topic going nuts with large red fonts and copy/pasting the same information from previous threads into new ones?

Literally, this is the definition of spam. Your threads contain nothing new. Every time you get a new piece of "evidence" (that's what you see it as in your fucked up twisted head) you just update all 4-5 of your previous threads with it plus you create a new one about it AND add the old thread's information.. What the actual fuck? No forum mods or something??

Stop spamming the fucking forums. Delete all your other threads that have the same topic and put it all in one big pile of shit so everyone can see how psycho you are about these people HAUNTING YOU. Thats the irony part of all this, nothing gets done, it the only way to get it across around here. Thats what I'm trying to do with this post is narrow it down. Yes i update the other posts just so people will see it and spread the word. As far as your "attack on me and my brother" comment, that was 1 thread, 1, and the rest were about these COD issues, which i only have 2 of. As for your actually posting bugs comment, I have a thread with 25 bugs in it, in 1 thread, just the way you like it, so I know that too. sorry you dont like my big red font, and yes, i do post new screens when things happen, so what I like to keep them updated. As for tuckers comment "how many times can you fall for this" I never have fallen for it, i've just been trying to prevent other people from having lose gold to these scumbags, as far as being a kid goes, I was born in the 80's.. As for all your other comments your entitled to think whatever you like, but in the long run i only have good intentions.

What do you not understand?? You already have threads about THIS SAME TOPIC. Add to them and that will bump them to the top again, instead of creating new ones. That's the issue. Stop creating new ones because that floods the forums. Edit your old ones, reply to them if you wanna bump them, do whatever the fuck you want, but don't create new ones just because you wanna get your message across. Everyone does, but it's just you who makes 3-4 threads about the same thing. Get it?
