Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm unable to open chests, I've tried two so far the most recent being in Darkshore at 52 20. The chest will open and then I wont see anything and it will say its being used. I've had guildies who've had the same problem in other zones so it seems like it might be a server wide thing tho I don't see a post about it.
