Modly Rhymes With... Bugged during server crash

I was doing the quest chain for the key to Scholomance, and i was at the part where i have to bring some guy in Tanaris 15 gold coins and Imbued skeletal fragments. I had just turned in the quest (Moldy Rhymes With...) and payed the 15 gold, when the server crashed and when i came back online, the quest wasen't completed, but i had still payed the 15 gold and given him the quest item (Umbued Skeletal Fragments). I did get the quest items needed for the next quest in the chain (Fire Plume Forged), but i cant use it for anything unless the Moldy quest is completed. Can someone help me? i fear i wont ever be able to obtain the key...
