Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Was in Searing Gorge, just had handed in "Torch of Retribution", where you then need to wait for Kalaran to complete the torch. While i was waiting, a rogue opened up on me and killed me. No big deal, when I came back to my corpse I rezzed and my quest was able to be completed. I picked up the next part of the chain which is also called "Torch of Retribution" but just requires you to take the torch that Kalaran created at the end of last quest...

Now the issue is that there is no torch there for me to loot. Is this because I was killed while the NPC was creating the item? I was still able to complete the quest upon rezzing, and continuing the chain but now im stuck with no Torch to loot.

Please help me out as this is a long chain in Searing Gorge.

Just waited about half an hour and came back and the Torch was there for me to loot.

Happened to me too, I waited by the Quest giver until the next person came by to do the quest and when the item spawned for them, I was able to loot it as well.
