Archmage Xylem not giving me mage quest

I completed the first 2 quests in this series http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=8253#wh-comments

The chain starts at Archmage Xylem, the first quest is Magic Dust and the second is The Siren's Coral. I completed both of those and it didn't give me the final quest which is "Destroy Morphaz" for the Sunken Temple dungeon.

Have any other mages received this quest or not?? Is it purposely out of the game?

Im level 50 and the requirement for the quest is level 50

Bump, I'm not able to get this quest either, I'm level 52 on my mage

That quest is not in-game yet as we are at patch 1.3 content currently. It, and other lvl 50 class quests leading to Sunken Temple, will be implemented later.

Do something with the patches... this early stage vanilla wasent the best to play at.

Erm guys can you please clarify if only the st part(destroy morphaz) of the quest is not here or magic dust r magic dust and siren`s coral are also not in the game? because i cannot get them either

I know this is an old post, but I feel compelled to reply to it anyway for those who stumble across it via search. Nostalrius is a progressive server. This means content is rolled out in a fashion similar to Blizzard's official timeline; i.e.: patch 1.3 > 1.4 > 1.5 and the soon to be 1.6. If your class quests or items aren't in the game presently, it's because they haven't been implemented yet and you'll have to wait. It hasn't nothing to do with "what patch vanilla was best to play at."

Google it; sources like WoWWiki all show these quests were added in patch 1.7. We're about to get patch 1.6 (BWL) which means they should be available in the next patch that comes with ZG.

I spent roughly 30 - 60 minutes trying to figure out what was going wrong here and found this page via google search. The quests rewards are very good and I deemed this quest worth delving into. Progressive patches is fine, but the problem arises when your class trainer goes and gives you the quest that starts the chain called !Archmage Xylem. This implies that the rest of the chain will be available, and once you fly out to Azshara you quickly find that the quest is not available. I thought I had done something wrong with the teleporting and what not in the tower before figuring out that the quest is not in the game. I suggest removing the lvl 50 class starter quests completely if they are not completable.
