Haven't logged in for few months. I use plenty of passwords around internet, and as I was figuring out my accounts password, I found out one that didn't say "Unable to connect" but instead said "This world of warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use"

Hey, which part of the news u mean? I know the server is closing, but my friend was able to log in just before I posted this post, which means they haven't locked the accounts on purpose or anything like that.

It sounds like you attempted lots of passwords on your account, in which case it gets a temporary ban to avoid bruce force hacking.

Yeah this sounds like a logical explanation tbh. Not that it matters TOO much at this point, when the server is coming to its end. I guess you can reset PW somewhere?
