Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,
My account for the Nostalrius server seems to have been hacked, as I can no longer login to it (Just says 'Unable to Connect'). But I can login on any other account.

I know only of how to change the password if you are logged in, is there no other way to retrieve it or reset it - as I can not login, the culprit must have changed my password!

If the message states "Unable to connect" it is not the password that is incorrect.

The main reason is probably that World of Warcraft is not able to establish a connection to our servers.
Make sure that the account name and password are correct and that your firewall or router is not blocking the ports that the game uses nor the game program itself.

If it's still not working, try using our second realmlist; login2.nostalrius.org instead of login.nostalrius.org.

Are you still having issues after trying these solutions?

This is not quite true, I sometimes incorrectly enter my password and do in fact get the "Unable to Connect" message instead of an invalid information message.

For the record, I'm having no issues accessing my account, just want to let you guys know that for some reason it does display "Unable to Connect" when entering a wrong password here, dunno why. Maybe worth looking into, but seem a small display bug really

I always get "unable to connect" when I incorrectly enter the password. Maybe you get that message for other reasons too, don't know. OP, what is the name of your toon that you cannot access? I'll see if it's online while I am on there.

I can login on any other account, so it cant be firewall/whatever.

My character was Millhouse on Alliance.

I added you as friend. I play my main, ellipsea (alliance), all the time. I'll keep an eye out.

But is there no way, outside of the game, to reset your password?
If so, that's stupid.

I am not aware of any other way. But that doesn't mean that there isn't. Did you try the login2 as mentioned by Life? On the sunny side, I have not seen that toon sign in all day.

I seem to have been ip blocked after my roommates and I created 4 accounts in total because there are four of us, we were unaware of the 3 account max limit. Now I can no longer play with them, because I am unable to connect. When i went to a friends house i could login because the ip is different. Please fix as this is frustrating. Moose

You are the man! I made another account with a password less than 17 characters in length and I was able to log in immediately.

Yes, I have tried changing the realmlist.

My password was certainly less than 17 characters Who can even remember a 17 character password.
My friends just reported they saw my character 'Millhouse' online today for a few minutes, then he logged off. So it's definitely someone else playing on it.
