Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was minding my business in Aldrassil and I encountered a bug in PvP combat. A hunter was shooting me from what seemed to be greater than 100 yards away. As I got close enough to cast a spell, it continually told me that the target wasn't in front of me. The same thing happened for the second hunter that joined in on combat against me. When I released my spirit, I was booted off and apparently banned. Can I get some kind of explanation for this? I didn't use any exploits of any kind to get to Aldrassil. I ran all the way from Mulgore to Darkshore and took the boat to Teldrassil as soon as I realized that crossing the water would have given me fatigue. Literally nothing wrong was done here.

Bump. I would really like to know the answer to this because if I can't be unbanned I want to delete the characters with names I had reserved.

This doesn't sound like it's against the rules... back in the day me and my friends used to run over and do that on the new player servers for fun, but then they put tons of super guards in the starting zones :/

do you have any screenshots or names of the players attacking you like that?
not too much to work with here, altho that is def strange, serverside must have thought you were somewhere else but on your client you were not there, maybe thats why they could attack you and it was saying your not facing the right way. when you released spirit maybe it updated your coords and thought you were teleporting?
