Like manual tunneling or programs like battleping/pingzapper. I'm currently at 140ms. Not horrible but playing a rogue it can be frustrating in pvp. I.e spamming cheapshot on top of someone "not in range" and bugging out of stealth looking really awkward. ect.

no i dont use wifi

You do realize 100ms ping is a 1/10 of a second delay. You wouldn't notice any difference from 140ms to 100ms. Honestly anything under 500ms you won't even notice.

the difference between say 140 ms and 80 ms is very noticeable at least for me. 140 ms gotta prekick MD basically, landing traps on moving targets can just miss because of it. (wod hunter pov) the difference between 80 and 20 is also huge as well. at 20 ms you can kick so fast people will think your a bot. At least in my experience.

tryed pingzapper set to france ms fluxed between 125 and 140. "server is in france right?"

A difference between 140ms and 80ms is roughtly a 0.05 second delay, same for the difference between 80ms and 20ms. If you can notice a 0.05 second delay, bravo to you.

Worst case scenario a difference from 140ms to 20ms is approx a 0.12 second delay. That shouldn't be game breaking.

As a long time gamer, I can say you're extremely wrong here. Of course, your numbers are accurate, but to say that we wouldn't notice a difference is foolish. Personally, I can feel the difference between 50ms and 20ms. I can even feel the difference between 20 ms and playin on LAN. 140 to 100 ms is a large difference to EXPERIENCED melee players.

@OP - I get 100 ping from NY. This is about the best you're going to get. I have tried routing from VPN to France and it doesn't help.

You can't reduce it any further. This is travel time. You'd have to physically move closer to the server. But most of America should have a good ping, as France is west Europe, almost as close as a Europe server can get without falling in the water. Part of the reason why we have a huge population is because it got all the Americans with its location. GL doing that Kronos. And Feenix was in Romania, terrible.

yeah weirdly enough where i used to live (5 minutes from where im at now) i had the exact same ms on feenix. also had 30 ms less on retail. prolly would get 90 ms with pingzapper if i still lived there.
