Sheep suppost to break on damaging the shield?

Created a ingame ticket to ask this question but was redirected here because Game Master String was not 100% sure about this

If i sheep a target (for example a priest with power word shield on himself) is the sheep suppost to break when i damage down the shield?. I'm not 100% sure myself if it was like this in late classic or in the beginning of BC.

So, that is the question, hope we can find out!

If you break the bubble and do damage, even if it's 1 damage it will break the sheep, I don't believe if they have the bubble that it should break the sheep. Sheep is a sheep until the target takes damage, but does the bubble count as the target or an enhancement? Good question.

Yea, that is what i would like to ask the community and GMs if anyone can remember this to back in the day.

It should break on absorb damage.
