Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I've been playing for the past few days and my ping outside of the city is relatively low as to where I can play the game with no lag problems. I just took a flight from crossroads to Org and as soon as I got into the city my ping hit 1800 and everyone was running in circles. I can log in, but everyone is 'Unknown' and when I run my pet stays where he logged in at. I cannot play the game in Orgrimmar which is stressful because I want to do RFC and use the AH. Please fix this lag within the city. Thank you.

Sounds like a computer problem, not a server problem.

Hardware problem on 10 year old content? my smartphone could run this game...

What you're describing sounds like the network load caused by the increase of players saturates your probably poor connection to the server. If it was PC performance than you'd probably get a dip in FPS and not a rise in latency.

Questions
- How steady is your latency when you're questing alone?
- Are you on Wireless?
- Go to Speedtest.net
- - Test a local connection, what's your ping, upload and download speed.
- - Test a French connection, what's your ping, upload and download speed.
- Open Command Prompt (Click the Start button and search for CMD or Command Prompt)
- - Type the following into Command Prompt:

ping 46.18.192.148 -t

- - Hit Enter and it will continously ping a French IP. Log in, go to Orgimmar and if your latency is very high in-game then check Command Prompt and tell me what the average time= when you're lagging the most.
