"Unable to Connect"

When trying to log in, it'll begin the log in process "handshaking..." and then immediately will stop and display a message saying "Unable to Connect". I downloaded the Nostalrius client and had not altered any files.

Hi Duhaime,

If your game version is 1.12.1 which is displayed on the bottom left of the login screen and if the server name on the bottom right of the login screen just under the Terms of Use button is Nostalrius Begins than it sounds like some of the connection ports may be blocked. If you have 3rd party Firewall Software than temporarily disable it and if that doesn't help than it may be worth briefly trying a free VPN service to see if it's being blocked externally.

There have been a few posts regarding this and no solutions that I see so it may take a few tries to fix.
