Do the GM's here do anything?

Greetings, I'd like to first say that I have been excited about Nostalrius from the day I heard about it. I waited, and upon release I could not play for about 5 days until the verification email problem was fixed. I still remained optimistic and excited. On my journeys through Nostalrius I have encountered many bugs, and reported many bugs. I understand that is a part of any game, and a great obstacle for GM's to overcome. However in my time here I have been a part of at least 7 tickets, and a ton of waiting. Not a single one of my tickets have met responses and I have been forced to move on sadly. The main reason for this post is to ask whether or not there is any reason in waiting, or looking forward to help, and if not, then why? If you are so short on GM's that you can't reply to a ticket why not get more? Or if you are supposed to have enough to deal with these kinds of issues, what are they doing that they are not?

well lets assume there is 15 GMs, as i dont know the true amount. there is around 5000 players if 800 of them open a ticket. Lets assume each ticket takes 20 minutes to respond/whatever. 800x20=16000 minutes. Now divide that up by 15, 16000/15= 1066 minutes thats 17.76 hrs each GM would have to invest to get to every ticket. With new tickets being opened constantly expecting a response from a ticket is ridiculous. This isnt blizzard, it isnt their job, Come report your bug on the forums, Your playing for free from a great team here on nos, They cant be expected to have customer service like blizzard especially considering average ticket from blizz is like 2-3 days.

Hey Dkev1,
Be patient, the server is still new and has grown quickly. It will get better with time as they streamline operations, add self-help information, services and recruit more GMs. Once they release their bug-tracker then ticket queues should be at a more manageable level.

If you file a ticket under 'stuck', it will be seen by the GM team and answered anywhere within a few minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the time of the day. If you report bugs under another category those are seen by the Dev team who files them and organizes them to be fixed in order of importance. Bug report tickets are not answered, but certainly appreciated.

Thanks for all the feedback. I had an encounter with a GM tonight, we got everything done that I needed. I do love the server and really hope that it can grow an efficient support system to give players the best experience possible. Thanks everyone.
