I'm not getting any loot when they die and they don't always appear when I drop them, I also don't think they are taunting mobs off me.

I have the same problem. I will think in a way to report the bug from Target dummy, Advanced Target Dummy and Masterwork Target Dummy, or someone with a better understanding could make this instead ^~
