Critical Error? :(

Hello all,

I would be extremely grateful if anyone can help me? I really want to level a character up on this realm, always loved and missed Vanilla WoW. However i keep getting this error message after my game crashes :-

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Classic\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:0059A00A

The instruction at "0x0059A00A" referenced memory at "0x06B45000".
The memory could not be "read".

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

although 132 seems to be a cach all for a lot of problems, I'm wondering how many of them are caused ny nvidia graphics cards. try this stuff:

Also Nvidia video card specific crashes and errors:

Do you have a nvidia video card? update the drivers.

and....Go into your System settings, on the left column click on Advanced. Once in this new tab, look for "Graphics API" and set it to DirectX 9

Make sure you are operating as administrator in WoW:

Right-click the Battle.net Desktop Application icon and select Properties.
Select the Compatibility tab.
Click Change settings for all users.
Under Privilege Level, check Run this program as administrator.
Click Apply.

open up the config.wtf file in the WTF folder with notepad and if you have the line

SET gxApi "d3d11"

change it to:

SET gxApi "d3d9"
