Ban Appeal? I think..?

My friend recently started playing WoW with me after I showed him Nostralius.

He's not a big gamer.
He's never played an MMO.
He doesn't do quests.

All he does is grind, and I mean literally all he does is grind. He will grind while watching anime, eating, doing homework, whatever.

This morning he tried to log on and was receiving a "You've been banned message" and I really gotta say I saw this coming. He doesn't respond to people very often if they talk to him, and I really believe he was mistaken for a bot lmao! I don't know the reason for the ban, nor does he, but if I could get an explanation to him that would be really great.

His name is "Canok" in game. The account name is "Leyf2" as I made the account for him.

Edit: I am talking to my friend this morning and updating him on his ban appeal... He wants the "Video Game Sheriffs" to know that he was indeed killing spiders in Duskwood before getting ban.

Edit2: He would like the "Game Sheriffs" to know that if doing quests means not getting ban, then he'll do quests. He was really having fun, guys. I hope we can resolve this :(

Vote for most touching ban appeal april 2015...
Botting is still bannable...
If your friend is not talking to people while playing, maybe mmo is not his kind of game...
Seriously now...
Wtf them ban appeals are getting akward... its not even funny anymore...
If you choose to bot because you cba to lvl or farm legit then live with the consequences.
On a side note:
if i have a friend incapable of pushing more then two buttons at a time, can i code him a bot in order to enjoy himself? he lost both hands and a leg in an accident and plays with a stick attached to his head in order to push buttons. Pls gms let him use my coded bot. Tyvm

He was not botting. He simply isn't computer-savvy enough to be botting. If the GM's have proof of him botting, I'd really love to see it. I really think this is all a misunderstanding of a player reporting my buddy because he "looked" like a bot. I sincerely hope the GM's aren't banning people on suspicions now. I was reading multiple ban appeals where people indeed are getting ban for suspicions, and not proof. I just hope this isn't the case. Nostralius is a work of art when it comes to a private server. The administration must reflect on what they've brought to our community

Make him a new account and show him how to chat and move

It's against the rules to make a new account to avoid a ban. It also states in the rules that "a botting character will be ban." And in my buddies case, that is also not true.

Not only was he NOT botting, but his entire account got ban, not just his mage. He had a rogue alt as well. They're both ban on suspicion. Were getting quite frustrated over here :(

You can make a new account and relevel normally WITHOUT botting (even though you claim he is not botting).
This is not against the rules.

It would be good if the gm's whispered the players saying "In order not to get banned for botting please respond to this message."

I agree. Neither of us know if any PM was sent by a GM. I really urge the GMs to check chat logs or maybe log in/out times for my friend Canok. Canok said he talked to a few players last night, but none of then were out of the ordinary. He told me a few people asked for water and food, and then asked if all mages get begged for food and water xD
