Unable to see yellow chat text after crash

A couple days ago my PC crashed while I was playing. When I logged back in, all of my in-game settings had been reset.

I subsequently noticed that I was no longer able to see yellow system messages like loot /rolls, players coming online, etc. When someone does come online, I can hear the sound but I don't see any text.

I have tried deleting the WTF and WDB folders but that didn't work. I've also tried reinstalling the game, which didn't help either.

I only have this issue on my main character. Everything seems to be fine on my other characters.

Did you even read what I posted?

I read your post and It sounds like the same issue. If WoW is installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Classic\ than go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Classic\ and rename or delete the WTF & WDB Folder.

Otherwise tell me the path that you installed WoW to.
