The Stone Watcher

Was trying to do this quest on my warrior last night but it seemed to bug out and the NPC wouldn't talk to me. I made a ticket but haven't got a response. Any help would be appreciated. My ingame name is Tristrom as well if there's something you can do there.

I met the bug at previous week and then reported it via ingame form.
The quest at wowhead. (btw, back in time the quest should be obtained not from the pedestal but from the watcher, - so nowadays wowhead is wrong, Nost implementation is correct.)

The condition is to speak with Stone Watcher of Norgannon (npc=7918): "Learn the purpose of the Stone Watcher of Norgannon". I got the quest from the watcher, but I wasn't able to speak with him - there're no dialogue window with the npc, and then he suddenly disappeared.

So I can't follow the condition of quest to finish it.
Maybe the devs will be able to fix the problem. :>

The bug has been reported to the bug tracker and will be fixed in due time. Sadly, there's hundreds of bugs/mechanics that needs to be fixed, some are more urgent than others.

I just figured out that this quest is bugged but can still be completed.

1) Abandon the quest
2) Pick it up from the watcher and right click him as fast as possible after accepting the quest. This opens up the interaction dialog. I just spammed through the dialog and thus I could then complete the quest by interacting with the discs below the watcher.

This worked for me. Hope it works for whoever is browsing this post!
