Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi,

When playing in WoW my latency jumps from an avg of 20-40ms to well over the 500+ and at times 1000ms which makes the game very hard to play.
Initially i blamed connection and other things but no issues experienced when playing other games in anyway but considered the possibility of firewall rules, ports so left a ping test running in the background so i could monitor the connection (used nostalrius.org -t as the command to keep it running).
For awhile all is great and i can make great headway in the game but at random points it decides its going to go crazy and my MS to the other site goes crazy. Close wow and within 2 mins goes back to normal.
This behaviour can not be a coincidence seeing as any other online game i play does not have this issue.

Any help on this would be amazing as loving the server a tonne playing the game as i remembered it in the good times

It could be something with your hardware. Before I built this new PC about 6 months ago, a different private server had the same issue. Same ISP and everything else the same and now I don't have that issue. The other PC was my spare hat was 6 years old and I didn't research what was wrong, I just trashed the whole thing.
