Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I have 3 items wich stats have changed from what they had/should have.

1. Hypnotic Blade - Drop from SM lib boss - Ingame it have lost its +9 to spell/healing.

2. Icefury Wand - quest reward from mage quest - Ingame the item lost its 4 intellect / had its frost dmg reduced to 3 / its dps changed to 32.5 (damage 36-68) & the item have become green.

3. Swampland Trousers - Quest reward from "The Thandol Span" - Item should have 11 stamina & 4 intellect but have completly changed and now only have +7 spirit.

The items are correct. The developers are going ng progressively in patches with items like vanilla did. Right now we are in patch 1.4 as DM nor BWL are released yet. A lot of items were buffed between 1.4 and 1.12.

My items had the stats provided on the links when i got them and changed to what i typed today.

Pretty sure thats not how it should be?

If what you said is correct the items where nerfed and then buffed back?

You probably cleared your cache in the meantime

Clearing your cache can be done by deleting the content of the WDB folder in your WoW installation folder .

I still dont understand how that would effect the problem maybe im just dumb ^^

If you had the wrong "cache", e.g. from feenix, you could have seen in-game an item with the wrong stats, with its post-1.4 stats.

The real one would still be applied to your character, but that nice +10 Stamina Ring was actually giving you +3 Spirit and you didn't even know.

If you cleared your cache in the meantime, you can now see it gives you +3 Spirit, and thus think the item changed, while it did not, only your perception of it .

So if i understand it correctly.
The items i got a few days ago had the correct stats becouse i played on another private server.
And now after i cleared my cache has the "wrong" (correct for nostalrius) stats?

Also, following http://db.vanillagaming.org/ as a guide to get items is stupid since some items (you dont know before doing all the hard work) wont have the correct stats...
Anyone know of a site with correct info for our current patch?

This may seem like a small problem for someone just lvling BUT i play alot and will soon be 60, grinding for what can be BiS - pre raid only to notice it completly useless to me doesnt sound very exiting
