My name is Mjõlner, not Mjölner like many people think I do. I will now tell you my story:
I detest ninjaing.
The other day some one ranted at me, calling me foul names because I had killed a quest mob which they camped. I explained to this dude I haven't killed any quest mob he described, at all.
Then a thought hit me. What if there is another guy on the server, with a similar name to mine?
I checked the /who and I'll be damned! There an orc warrior is, with the same race, class and spec.!!!
I was stunned.
I explained to the random dude that he was clearly mistaking me with some one else on the server. He was taken aback at first, called me a liar, and told me I was that guy Mjölner. He then dropped the topic and I never heard from him again.
Later at lvl 60! (HURRAY
) I was going to join an Upper Blackrock spire raid when the leader tells me that he remebers me. I made no big fuzz about it, as I knew there were many on the server with a similar name. Then all of a sudden he denied me a spot in the raid and called me a ninja.Let me make this very clear. I haven't ninjaed in my whole life on this server, I give you my word!
I explain to him that he is mistaking me for another dude on the server, and yet again! This new guy calls me a ninja AND a liar.
Now I'm so sad that I can't ignore the fact that this other warrior is completely trashing my reputation on the server AND my gaming experience.
I made a ticket, explained my issue with a GM and he told me that the "policy" isn't fulfilled in my case and that I have to take the piss - So to say
I'm creating this thread for people with similar issues as me, but foremost to look for a serious blizzlike GM that would help a fellow WoW-vanilla fan as his own! I now plead directly to Nostalrius to give my character a name change, even though I don't fulfill the requirements to get one.
Please, look at me!
Not like a paper with fulfilled requirements but as a human! A human in need of your help! A human that is so sick of hearing people calling me ninja, ranting at me and making my life not worth living on the server.
