Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So when I and my friend opens up our friendlists, it is first entirely black, then when you click it the names are in a bad order and mixed around, not like it should be: with names in order, online names at the top. Also when my friend opens his mailbox he gets an error called Lua. Any information on how to solve this would be largely appreciated.
We have tried deleting addons as well as WDB but the problem persists.

same here, tried to delete config files too but nothing changed

This bug happens when someone on your list deletes their character, I fixed it somehow when it happened to me but I don't remember how.

Are you sure the list was entirely black at first? I've experienced that too but when I moved my mouse cursor over the friends list window, the area where their player names were expected to show would be highlighted as if their name was actually there, you just couldn't see it, like the text was set to invisible.

I did also see the weird ordering of player names that made no sense. I've only encountered these problems two or three times and usually logging out and back in again fixed it. Haven't known them to be persistent.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I'd appreciate it very much

I get this too, but assumed it was addon taint. To fix it I just re-friend my bank alt which forces the list to update. It only fixes it for that moment, though, and needs to be done every time I look at my friends list.

So i figured out a quick fix for this bug. I hope you all pass it on, pick a random guy and friend him, then it's back! Just don't forget to remove or thank your new found buddy.

The friendlist bug happen when one of your friend delete his char.

Just delete the friend name :"unknow"+ restart the client !

Also guys, just found out, that Noxm's trick works if you disable addons, not sure all of them or just the ones which work with friend list. after removing "unknown" list will glitch, log off and in, voila!
