Stratholme Baron bug - GM kind of incompetent

by SanderP » Sun Apr 19, 2015 8:17 pm

Don't know why, we wiped just before Baron when the rollback happened minutes ago, we come back in and Baron's doors are closed, we cannot get inside his hall.
So, I decided to contact a GM to open the doors for us, he arrives and tells me this nonsense before he leaves us back here:

That's quite unprofessional, just open us the doors and say "Good evening :)"

Not to say, that we wiped last run as well at baron, and we could get back in easily, like on retail, or other pservers I have been on.

Adding that another guy and 10 minutes of waiting, he opened it (same GM) for our healer.
Really, sort your shit out, this is a game, we want to play and not do german bureaucracy.

Tho, he opened only 1st doors, 2nd doors are still closed. Giggle.

Guess last add now: GM Demonize is helping us after a reset to clear the whole shit again, now that's support. I'd suggest Aerrbax learns something from his mate instead of treating his playerbase like that in the future!

Greetings,

I am sorry if you felt mistreated. However, the information I provided was not inaccurate. Hakkar and Baron are one-time tries per instance. If you wipe, you have to rerun the instance. If you were able to reengage previously after wiping, then you experienced an unusual occurrence, as this should not have been possible. Secondly, after reassessing the condition of the instance, I noticed that the server interruption caused too much of the instance to go haywire to conclude whether or not it was functioning properly, your problem aside. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I decided to open the first (despite the inaccuracy of your second post on this thread) and second doors. After learning that Baron was untargettable, -I- was the one who escalated the situation to a higher-ranked GM so it could be fixed. Again, I'm sorry if you felt mistreated. Keep a few things in mind for your future tickets:

1. We are not retail.
2. We are not other servers.
3. As GM's, we have rules of our own to follow.

Thank you.

Regards,

GM Aerbax
