Ingame chat bugged

Greetings,

I have a somewhat strange problem with the chant on one of my characters as stated in the topic name i cannot see anything in the chat on my character Gogaie. If i login on a different character the chat works fine but not on my main. I re installed the game a few times and that didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hey greuceanu,

It sounds like your chat-cache on that character may be corrupt. Close WoW and navigate to your ...\World of Warcraft Classic\WTF\Account\ folder. If you've installed WoW into Program Files than it may be here:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Classic\WTF\Account

Once there, click on your Account Name, click on Nostalrius Begins, click on your Character Name and then delete the chat-cache.txt file.

If this does not help than also try renaming or deleting the WTF folder.

Hey, sadly there is no folder there called WTF so i cant really delete anything :/

If it's not there than paste the path to your WoW installation.

There must be one, the game update it each time you log on any of your characters. Try with the windows search function ("F3" key in any explorer window).
Assessing you installed it in "c:\Nostalrius", the full path should be like
"c:\Nostalrius\WTF\Account\account_name\Nostalrius Begins\character_name\chat-cache.txt"
