Banned for Typing Password incorrectly too many times

I recently changed my password for my PC. After a d/c I wasn't thinking and I typed the incorrect one like 15 times going "wth man". I am logged in here on the forums and obviously know my password, I'm just a dumb ass. Can a GM please PM me to help get this resolved. Thanks so much.

I'm sorry to accuse you of blatantly lying, but that's messed up.

So if I had an issue with somebody, I'd just spam his account (which I happen to know) with the wrong password to get him banned? Naa, that'd be wayyy too exploitable.

If your getting the "this world of warcraft account is closed" it's a temporary lock out to prevent brute force hacking attempts and you should be able to log back in 30 minutes or so later, be careful though as you only get 1 try before it locks you out again!
