i guess theres no point event trying to pvp if u cant commit 10 hrs a day for it/play in premade

so anyway, my point is that people here nolife at least 3x worse then 10 years ago on retail. back then there were alot less people willing to commit their whole life for getting rank14 (me included, shared acc with my brother and barely made it to 13). and rank 14 back then had 10x more value then now (both ingame or for $$ )

and every rank 8-9-10 puging on horde side is no better, couse he pugs for 400k honor which requires like 10 hrs/day getting steamrolled in bgs

and considering that most of guys playing here played vanilla and are ~30yrs old leads to a conclusion that theres alot of fucked up lives around

so ye, too bad

anyway, one more vore for pug vs pug and premade vs premade bgs

bad assault premades

it isnt much better on the alliance side, no matter when you join there are always about 4/5 horde premades so plenty ready to wreck you.

i only do pug pvp myself, but why dont you join a premade then if you complain so much about it?

and one more thing, ranks 8-9, or higher even were easily obtainable on retail, and most of pve players had them

well next wednesday ill hit rank 7, i dont know how fast it will go after that, i will cross that bridge when i get to it.

But do premades really take time then? just join one thats looking for more, i often see people looking for more on the alliance side. and premades seem to roll trough bgs in 5 minutes ( due to alot of dodging against other premades)

you're just getting older, or you forgot that there were many servers on retail

past rank 7 on my server was a challenge, and almost nobody had 10+
we had only one rank 14 in the guild etc

huge pop here, ranking feels really easy so far
but yeah, if you cant join a premade just give up

I think the biggest difference, all the high ranking PvPers on my retail vanilla server absolutely HATED each other. Here they work together to ensure that everyone in their group gets high warlord / grand marshal.

Back in the day you would never see a premade full of helmet icons working together.

the fact that you shared your account on retail for certain rank shows that the high ranks were not for casuals back in the day. and it hasnt changed a bit, its still not for casuals. im sorry that you cant get your gear with casual playtime but that was never the case.
edit: also why would you pug if theres a `join as team` option? why would you play with randoms and bads in the first place. AV w/o premade que is the worst thing that happened in this game at the moment, im forced to play with idiots with no knowledge of the game and im not having fun.

Nah. Premades were pretty bad as well ten years ago. Just was not as drastic due to comparative population on per server basis, among other things.

Not to mention like healthycoww said, all those competing were much more cutthroat about it, and actually sacrificed more hours.

I rolled here for the PvP. A few days before I hit 60 I realized, not being able to play the game 14-16 hours/day I won't be able to reach anything PvP-wise, so I decided i'd rather play twice a week and just raid with my guild and get pmuch the same gear as all these pvp freaks.

It is kind of funny, how back when I played retail wotlk PvP, all the pvpers called raiders nolifers, look at this shit now lol.
