[No RP Realm] Future Realms

Dear Nostalrius,
Long time lurker, first time poster; nice to meet you... Now that the new PvE server is underway, are there any plans for an RP server or perhaps even an RPPvP server?

Hi Trudge - I've watched the forums since launch, and they have not indicated any plans for an RP server.

Note that they took a risk even with introducing a PVE server, and many players thought that the high population PVP server would 'die' as a result of introducing a second realm due to population drain. While that's silly since there was a pent-up demand for a decent PVE private server, it is the case that if they start splitting the Nostalrius population too much it could have negative side effects. So I would not hold out too much hope for this to happen in the near future.

why cant you just do your rp on the pve or pvp server ..

the RP community is comparably small
there's no danger of the main servers dying out because of it, however there's no point in introducing one either for such a small part of the population. Especially when the other realms can be used for RP as well

Or just a 2nd PvP server with a 2.5k loose cap.

Hello Trudge,

As said earlier, before opening a new realm we check if the population is viable for this realm to survive on its own. This is what happened with the PvE server. As of now, we do not feel the need of a RP realm.
