Make sure the database (if possible) is before the news bursted, people might get salty if it relaunches somewhere and they gave their gold to some lvl 40 begging for mount. My gold is safe but just saying.

That would also void any character progression made during the final days. I know some players have gone self-destruct mode, but for the sake of all the rational people, I think they should snapshot the database on server shutdown.
